Ferrari 488 Pista - from: POA
The Ferrari 488 Pista should have no trouble joining the Top 5 Supercars list, perhaps even at the expense of the Ferrari 488 GTB, which currently holds the No. 2 position in the supercar league. The ‘Pista’ name means it is built to be a track car, however, what this model really is , is a street-legal 488 Challenge car, even though the Challenge Stradale name is no longer used.
"This is the fourth car in Ferrari’s V8 ‘special series’, which began with the 360 Challenge Stradale in 2003, followed by the 430 Scuderia in 2007 and the 458 Speciale in 2013 – all of which are, justifiably, whispered of in hallowed terms as all-time-greats, each of them an enthralling driver’s car for the ages. The Pista is the most potent Special Series car yet, with fiendishly clever electronics and aerodynamics influenced directly by Ferrari’s 488 Challenge and GTE racing cars." - CAR
