Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions describe the contract and responsibilities of both parties entering into a car rental agreement between you ("the renter"), any third party supplier ("a/the supplier") and Titanium Luxury Hire Limited, herein referred to as Us, We or The Company.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all deals for the provision of our facilities and services, and supercedes any other Terms and Conditions you may have previously received.

Acceptance of or agreement to a contract with us, use of any facilities provided, or your signature on any contract shall be considered as conclusive conformation of your acceptance of these Conditions.

The contents of these terms and conditions are subject to change by us. It is your responsibility to check our site to ensure you are aware of any modifications or changes to the terms and conditions that may apply to you. If you feel a change to the terms and conditions is not acceptable to you or prevents you from continuing with your rental it is your responsibility to let us know. Failure to do so could result in losses for which we are not responsible.

We are a car rental facilitator. The rental car may be provided by one of our network of suppliers. Your contract for car hire may be with a supplier. By making a reservation with us you agree to accept any additional terms and conditions required by the supplier.

Your car rental reservation is not assumed complete or confirmed by any means other than an email from us implicitly confirming your booking. No other confirmation from any other means should be considered as such. Confirmation does not guarantee your reservation.

We are not responsible for any charges or losses incurred by the renter as a result of documents signed and accepted at local level. We are in no way responsible for any damage caused to the rental vehicle by any person driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off-road driving or driving carelessly, or using the vehicle for any other purpose than that agreed. You will take full liability in respect of such claims or situations.

Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to European Law.

Limited Liability Clause

If you have received confirmation of your booking but at the commencement of your rental a supplier fails to provide you the agreed vehicle, fails to offer a suitable alternative or fails to deliver any vehicle we should not be held liable for any such inconvenience or losses incurred and this should be dealt with by you and the supplier.

We are a car rental service facilitator and act as a broker between you and the supplier. By using our services, you agree not to hold us responsible for any damages, extra charges or expenses caused in any way by you or the supplier.

The maximum liability we have to you in cases of failed agreements is to the amount of the reservation deposit you paid to us at the time of booking.

Refund Policy

A full refund of your reservation fee will be offered if you cancel your order within seven days of booking. Where a booking is made for collection within seven days of the date of booking this policy does not apply. If you cancel your booking outside of the seven day "cooling off" period no refund will be offered.

Any applicable refund will be made within seven days of approving your cancellation request. Refunds will be subject to administration costs of 5% of the total amount.

If the rental is cancelled as you are unable to provide the security deposit or any outstanding balance at the time of pickup the deposit is non-refundable.

The insurance of the vehicle is provided and maintained by the supplier and we are in no way responsible for any losses incurred as a result of improper or illegal activities relating to the vehicle insurance.

  • i. The delivery is out of normal office hours.

  • iii. The collection point is not the same as the delivery point.

  • iv. The collection time is out of normal office hours.

  • v. The collection point is in a different country to the delivery point.

Where possible we will inform you of such charges prior to accepting a booking from you. Delivery or collection out of normal office hours may not be available in some cases. In those cases we will endeavour to agree a delivery and/or collection time and/or location that is acceptable for both you and the supplier but we do not guarantee it and are in no way guarantee delivery and/or collection out of office hours.

Flight Delays

In the case of flight delays or other delays to vehicle delivery you must inform us as soon as possible. We will attempt to adjust the delivery time for you in accordance with your delay but this may not always be possible and in such cases the supplier may introduce a charge for the delay or for losses incurred by them as a result of the delay.

Security Deposit & Vehicle Fuel

In most cases our supplier will request a security deposit from you before delivery of the vehicle. This deposit is required in case of damage, theft or any other losses to the vehicle. The deposit will be an amount previously agreed with you and will be held on a valid credit card provided by you between 24 and 72 hours prior to delivery. Failure to provide this security deposit could result in the termination of your booking and the loss of any deposits already paid. The amount held will be released without deductions on completion of your rental providing that the vehicle and its contents are returned in the same condition that they were provided to you.

Some of our suppliers may request you pay in advance for the first tank of fuel as the vehicle may be delivered fully fuelled. In these cases the supplier will endeavour to inform us in advance of this and we will in turn inform you of the amount requested. This may not always be possible and the charge may be requested at the point of delivery. We are in no way responsible for these charges and any losses incurred by you as a result. In these cases no refunds will be made for any unused fuel. Some of our suppliers may deliver the vehicle to you fully fuelled without requesting an up-front payment. In these cases you must return the vehicle fuelled to the same level as when it was delivered. Failure to do so may result in additional charges from the supplier. We are not responsible for any charges relating to fuel.

In most cases the minimum age required to enter into a rental agreement with us or any of our suppliers is 28 years. Extra charges may apply in some jurisdictions or by some suppliers for drivers under 28 years and over 65 years of age. For any extra charges in case of deviation in age limit or a change in car rental age policy, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the car rental supplier. Any losses incurred as a result of failure to adhere to the age restrictions are the sole responsibility of the renter.

Additional Drivers

Additional drivers may be added to your rental agreement at the sole discretion of the supplier. In most cases any additional drivers must be agreed and paid for in advance of delivery. In some instances additional drivers can be added at the time of delivery but these are done so at the sole discretion of the vehicle supplier. Any charges relating to additional drivers are your responsibility.

Period of Hire/Daily Rate Calculation

Your rental period will be agreed in advance and will begin and end at the time/date stated on your agreement, unless otherwise agreed. A day is considered to be a period of 24 hours.

Extensions to your rental period must be made directly with the vehicle supplier who is under no obligation to extend your rental period and may do so at their discretion. The supplier may make additional charges for extensions to the rental period which you are responsible for. We are not responsible in any way for charges made for rental period extensions. No refund will be offered for early return of your vehicle. In some cases an early return will mean additional losses for us or the vehicle supplier. Any losses incurred by us or the vehicle supplier due to early return will be your responsibility.

One Way Rental

One way rental is usually available but in some cases an extra drop-off charge may be requested by the supplier. Where possible we will inform you of these charges prior to accepting your reservation but this may not always be possible. We are not responsible for any additional charges levied for one-way delivery after booking confirmation. If you are unsure if this is included in your rental agreement, please contact us.

Vehicle Extras

In most cases the supplier is able to supply vehicle add-ons including, but not limited to, roof-rack, bicycle rack, child-seats, booster seats, ski-rack, snow-chains. In these cases there will be a surcharge for the supply of the items which will vary between suppliers. We and our suppliers make no guarantee to supply any of the add-ons we mention here or any other vehicle add-on you may request, although every effort will be made to accommodate your request. In some jurisdictions certain add-ons are a legal requirement, for instance snow-chains are required by law in Switzerland during winter months. In these cases they will be supplied as part of your agreement at no extra charge.

If you intend to drive to a country other than that where the vehicle is delivered/collected you must inform us at the time of booking as certain restrictions may apply. Failing to inform us may result in delays/charges/losses for which we are not responsible.

During the booking process we will make requests for certain documentation from you for yourself and any additional drivers. This could include, but is not limited to, driving licence, and/or passport. It is your responsibility to ensure the validity of any documents you provide. Failure to do so could result in the termination of your reservation in which case no refund will be offered. If we suspect you have made a deliberate attempt to rent a vehicle under false pretences we will be required by law to inform the local authorities and provide them with copies of your documentation. We are in no way responsible for any losses incurred by you or any third-party as a result of fraudulent or otherwise invalid documents provided by you.
